Determining which of the hundreds of colleges will best meet your child's needs and abilities has become a highly complex, costly, and often stressful process for many families. Selecting the right academic courses, taking the appropriate entrance exams, developing interesting activities and skills, planning summer experiences, and writing outstanding essays, which have taken on a significant role in admissions decisions, can all make a major difference in gaining admission to the institution of your choice. Recognizing what factors, including learning disabilities, may be affecting a student's performance is a frequent concern.
The Educational Consulting Centers have been providing counseling services to deal with these issues for over forty years. We have an excellent record of appropriate college placements for our clients, including the most selective schools. Our professional staff is proud of our record of guiding thousands of young women and men into the schools that have resulted in successful, fulfilling experiences. We monitor the finest institutions of all kinds to make sure that they continue to provide the academic and personal services they promise to their students. Our research, writing, and daily counseling with students and families keep us well informed of trends in college admissions and changes in individual colleges and universities.
Educational counseling is a personal relationship between our staff members and students and their families, and we will work with you on an individual basis. You may choose to work with Howard Greene or Matthew Greene in Westport, Connecticut, or New York City, or with Ginger Miller, the Director of our New York office. We are also available by telephone and Skype for consultations with families around the world and across the country. Our professional, experienced consultants work together as a team to provide you with a high level of support, insight, and guidance.
